Speakers Information:

Dr. Fenghui Ren is a lecturer in the School of Computing and Information Technology at the University of Wollongong, Australia. He received the Bachelor of Computer Science from Xidian University (2003), his PhD (2010) from the UOW, Australia. His research interests include Intelligent Systems, Agent and Multi-Agent Systems, Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery, and Smart Grid. Dr. Ren is an active researcher. He had jointed organised several International conferences and workshops and had published more than 70 research papers.

Overview

Topic 1Emergency incidents such has vehicle accident, medical emergencies and house fires could occur randomly in the urban areas. Traditional emergency responses reply on human operators and the rescue resources deployment results are highly impacted by the personal experience. In this talk, a multi-agent-based solution will be introduced to automatically perform the emergency response and the resource deployment process. An online multiagent system for emergency resource deployment will be also demonstrated during this talk.

Topic 2In a complex agent environment, agents may need to conduct multiple interdependent negotiation with different opponents for different purposes. This talk will introduce the state-of-art approach in agent negotiation by considering different negotiation criteria and our latest research outcomes in the concurrent multiple negotiations domain.
